Bond-A-Brick is a cementitious, durable, thin jointing mortar that provides a strong bond between fly ash/clay bricks. WHERE TO USE: Bond-A-Brick can be used for jointing work between fly ash and clay bricks.
Surface must be clean, free from dust, oil and grease that may affect bonding. Wet the surface before applying Bond-ABrick.
Mix one bag of 40kg of Bond-A-Brick with approx. 8 to 10 liters of clean water. Mix thoroughly until the desired paste is achieved. Ensure the paste is free from lumps before use.
Using a proper trowel, apply a thin uniform layer to the entire area of horizontal & vertical surface of bricks. The material can be applied at a recommended thickness of 2-4mm. Ensure that good contact is achieved between the adhesive mortar and brick surface. Continue laying the next brick and follow the same procedure to complete the structure. Clean the excess material and reuse after laying each brick.
